Here’s a weekly roundup of the latest in Beauty News.

• Jimmy Choo will debut it’s scent in Spring 2009, instead of 2008. 
• Kimikio Cosmetics, recently introduced in the U.S. a 50-plus product line which herbs and extracts that are said to combat fine lines.
• Nature’s Gate is launching the first organic lotion range to have the USDA Organic Seal.
• SoftSheen, the black beauty company will start creating Optimum Care Cares 3K Walks across the U.S. to help promote heart health.
• Barbie and Bonne Bell are coming together to create a beauty collection for the mass markets next year.  Due to the Barbie Loves MAC Collection, Barbie feels the time is right to enter into the cosmetic market.
• Marc Jaccobs Home Gragrance Collection will hit stores in September with decanter sticks, hand wash, and room mist.  The scents have notes of tropical rain accord, beech amber, and passion flower.

If you are a sucker for a vanilla scented pucker, I have a lip balm for you.  Mode de Vie Vanilla Lip Balm is an all natural,shea butter filled lip balm that’s so yummy you will want to keep licking your lips so you can reapply it.  If your life is in need of a little color, the Red Tango is a great one too.  Non-greasy with just a stain of color and a lot of softness for the lips.  The vanilla is by far my favorite. There’s also peanut butter and cappacino.
