2009 (Washington, D.C.) – CityShopGirl, D.C.‘s free subscription email

host a city wide scavenger hunt.
The hunt begins
on Monday, October 5 with daily clues appearing in CityShopGirl’s daily email

After 10 days of
hints and over 20 clues, participants will meet with their scavenger hunt items
at 6 pm on Saturday, October 17 at Lotus Lounge. This event will be open to the public featuring light
appetizers, specialty cocktails, and an announcement of the winners. The Scavenger Hunt DC grand prize (valued
at over $2500) includes gift certificates from area vendors including The
Ritz-Carlton, iLori, Still Point Spa, Sweetgreen, Urban Chic, Carl Ray Make-up
Artist, LA Boxing, Ginger, Crooked Monkey, Nage, Firefly, Chef Geoff,
SimplySoles and The Big Bad Woof.
There will be a
suggested donation of $5 to support Skincando’s efforts in Operation Sand Flea
which provides Combat Ready Balm to US troops departing for Iraq and
celebrating our one year anniversary of working with great local vendors and
providing our readers a chance to shop, eat and treat themselves in DC. We are excited to host this fun event
