Spring Renewal With Nature’s Gate Lavender & Aloe Nourishing Shampoo and Conditioner

Spring is considered a time of renewal then I need all the renewing I
can get. Life has been such a crazy existence for this new year. Last
fall work exploded. I mean exploded to the fact that I am not getting
home until well past 9pm. It's been so hard to be motivated, coupled with a VERY long and hard winter – to work on this site. It's something I truly miss,
but I always feel that if the creative mojo isn't flowing then I
need to figure a way to get it back.  So here I am trying to get it back.  I have so much to look forward to this year.  I'm headed to the St. Croix Food & Wine Experience where I will be writing and twittering about the event.  I'm also headed to the World Cup in South Africa in June.  More details on that in the next few weeks.  So life has been busy, but good. I'm really blessed.

But for the first time in a long time, I'm beginning to feel like my blogging self. So much has happened with my schedule that it's so hard to comprehend where I start and end. But I keep telling myself – Spring = renewal. The first step is finding a new product, place, or item to love. My first spring renewal product is Nature's Gate Lavender & Aloe Nourishing Shampoo and Conditioner. This lightly scented combo is the perfect relaxing nourishment for my hair that I need every morning in the shower.  It cleans and moisturizes while bringing my hair and me to a happy place. I'm excited to try some other Nature's Gate body products next.

What are you doing for your Spring renewal? I want to know.

  2. So you really liked the Aloe Nourishing line? Have you tried the conditioner as a deep conditioner at all? I’d be curious.
As far as a spring renewal… I’m working on renewing my sense of sexiness in myself. I’ve been married for a year and a half and have gained some serious lbs… So, now I’m right on the cusp of being ‘overweight’ and am trying to kick start an exercise routine before I cross that line!!

Aftering doing a vegan, sugar, preservatives, alcohol free fast for Lent, I’m further renewing myself by doing the Bikram Yoga 30 day challenge. So every morning, before work, I head to the studio and sweat it out for 90 minutes.

  4. I’m cleaning out my closet, giving away old clothes and decluttering: Magazines, Paper, pay stubs–all the paper items that are piled up are going to the shredder!

  5. Hey J,
I’m doing a few things: back to African Dance classes to get in better shape and wearing all the heels I have in my closet that I’ve let collect dust. Last year I bought a pair of Birkenstock….I realized I was letting my youth and sexiness slip….not good! I’m looking for a new shampoo will give this a try.

  6. Oooh i have that. But honestly I like the Chamomile & Lemon Verbena scent better. Haha but they work the same. They do wonders. =)

  7. Spring renewal is all about taking care of myself, getting my hair, nails and skin back in shape for summer. Winter always does a number on all three.
These shampoos are so adorable. Love the packaging and the different color caps make it much easier to distinguish one from another. Too bad I’m allergic to Lavender.
