Gratitude. This is the word that I’m focusing on for April. I was recently talking with my cousin Cassy and we were talking about being grateful. With all that has been going on in the world we really don’t have anything to complain about. Yes, it’s easy to always see the glass half empty, but why not begin each day seeing it half full of wonderful possibilities. I thought of all the blogs I read that mention things they love and I thought why not start my own. It doesn’t have to be Christmas to give you a few of my favorite things. I could have typed more, but I thought four was a good start.
Have a weekend filled with beauty, relaxation, yoga, and lots of gratitude.
The skin care junkie in me believes in “anointing” my body with oil. I love a good oil rubdown. I discovered Carol’s Daughter Goddess Flower Dry Oil Mist on a beauty hunt and only one word comes to mind. Yummy.
Starbucks Vanilla Rooibos Tea. I stocked up on African Rooibos tea last year on our visit there, but was introduced to this tea by my friend Erika. She and I talk wellness, as much as, beauty. I took one sip and was blown away. Buy the canister it’s cheaper.
Les Senteurs Gourmande Vanille Bourbon Perfume. The smell of vanilla and bourbon leads to a smoky, but sweet scent. You have to love vanilla to be a fan of the gourmande scents, but if you are this is a must have. J’adore.
Smith Rosebud Salve in a Tube. It’s been out awhile, but I had yet to acquire it. I love this salve and have numerous half used tubs all over. No more.

Oooh I love rooibos tea, it’s delicious, by far my favorite and I like most teas.
