Destination Pretty: JPK Paris “Large Trekker” Nylon Satchel

I’m always on the search for different and useful travel bags. I’ve learned from trial and error one of the worst things is being in an airport with an overloaded bag on your shoulder. Leather is great, but it can get heavy. I carry multiple technology items (iPad, Kindle, Macbook), camera, wallet, makeup bag, and more. You definitely get the picture. Things can get heavy quickly. Last week I was in Panera getting breakfast and had to stop this young lady because of her bag. She immediately told me the name, where she bought it, and how much she loves it. She was a consultant and on the road every week. She said “if you travel a lot this bag is for you.”

Be still my jet-setting heart I immediately called Nordstrom and in less than 72 hours the JPK Paris Large Trekker Nylon Satchel was mine. My bag informant was correct. This bag is great. It’s lightweight, has multiple products, and the inside lining is super cute. I picked the army green color (which is more olive in person) since it’s different and can work with multiple seasons. It also has a cross-body strap in case I want to go hands free. My tech gadgets fit perfectly and it’s still lightweight. I can’t wait to carry my new computer in it when I travel later this month and to see Jay-Z and Kanye West in December in Nawlins.

I fell in love with this bag too! On a side note, why do you need to carry the kindle and an iPad if the iPad has a kindle app?

Rosanna, I don’t like to read books on my iPad. I don’t like the LCD screen. I prefer the Kindle because the screen is truly like a real book. I use the iPad for magazine reading. Vanity Fair, Allure, Food Network, Yoga Journal, etc.
