Destination Pretty: Carneros Inn and Spa – Napa Valley, California

I have Napa on the brain and weighing heavily on my mind. I recently had lunch with my friend Marty and she reinforced that we need to visit soon. I was watching the Barefoot Contessa (Ina Garten) cook for her beloved Jeffrey in Napa Valley and San Francisco I got a little jealous. That needs to be me. This only added fuel to the fire on planning a Napa Valley sojourn. I figured I could grab a few other couples, rent a house, and pretend that I live in all that Northern California glory. It also means that the girls and I could steal a few hours away from the boys and luxuriate in everything The Carneros Inn has to offer including the spa. The inn is located on acres of vineyards, farmland, and ambiance. I can still visit the spa for the day even if I don’t stay at the property, but a stay is a must. Are you reading this husband?

Gorgeous pictures and I love the post. Well, I know how attractive a spa could be but the inn looks so inviting and beautiful that IF I WERE THERE, I’d omit the spa from my list. I am including Napa Valley in my list of places that I intend to visit next year.
