Qatar Airways: Delights to Fly For

Dining at 30,000 feet has changed at Qatar Airways. I recently spent an evening testing Qatar Airways new business class menu. Qatar is a one of the few five star airlines in the world. Have you heard of them? Probably not, but you will. Doha is hosting the 2022 World Cup and Qatar is going to be airline of choice for many football fans. The airline recently celebrated it’s World’s Best Business Class award for excellence in service, cuisine and seats.

In the ever changing travel landscape when it seems travel can be thrilling and downright hideous at the same time the world needs luxury. Qatar’s Delights to Fly For is fine dining at 30,000 feet. The experience is different starting with the food being à la carte. This takes the mystery out of what you will be having for dinner on your international flight. The menus were designed by Michelin and world class chefs: Nobu (only one name is needed here), Vineet Bhatia, Ramzi Choueiri, and Tom Aikens. Qatar didn’t leave their wine list to chance and sommelier James Cluer handpicked various champagnes and wines to accompany the dishes.

I’ve flown business class before and let me tell you Qatar is on an entirely different level. This is truly one of the best ways to say bon appétit.
