Beauty how many waysI love you, let me count the ways. Today, various beauty bloggers are listing the "Best of 2006." There will be various beauty products so please take the time to click on each link below and see what products brought the beauty junkies so much joy.
Here's my list of the BEST products of 2006. Some are new and some are old faithful, but ALL help me maintain the pretty.
- Borghese Fango Active Mud for Face and Body. If you read my Beautimous Chronicle #1 then you know I can't live without this. If they ever discontinue this: "Lord help the day."
- Maryam's Soap Nook Whipped Shea Butter. Julia loves a shine and this body butter sets my skin aglow.
- Bobbi Brown Enriched Face Base. Helps my skin maintain it's flawless complexion.
- Paul Mitchell Foaming Pomade. My ultra short do couldn't produce any waves without this.
- OPI Nail Polish in Bubble Bath. Classic, understated and always elegant.
- Sisleya Eye Cream by Sisley. Another year, another day older and another day why this eye cream continues to help those laugh lines.
- Bobbi Brown Brick in Brownie.* There isn't a day I don't wear bronzer and this takes my beauty game to the next level.
- Laura Mercier Translucent Powder in Sundust. I am forever grateful to Tia Williams for putting me on to this.
- DiorKiss Lip Gloss. My oh my how this lip gloss lasts. This is one gloss I know has staying power when I put it to the test during a 2 hour hip hop yoga class.
- Bobbi Brown Chocolate Palette Eyeshadow.* Only Bobbi could make a palette that goes for double on Ebay without any celebrity endorsement and it sells out in weeks. No matter how many requests, no seconds or thirds were made and I still wish I had bought just one more.
- MAC Lip Gloss in Factory Made from the MUSE Collection.* The perfect bronze for me. I don't need anything else when this hits my lips.
- Dior Sunshine Blush in Sunset Fiesta.* Once again, Tia Williams is always on point.
- Estee Lauder More Than Mascara.* I didn't think Estee had it in them to make me run from my mascara of years to their line. This one continues to work and feather my lashes like no other.
- Armani Code Perfume.* There are no words. Perfect.
- With Love by Hillary Duff.* Just when I think I am through with celebrity endorsed scents, this young lady proves me wrong. The elegance of the bottle and the amber infused scent set this one apart. I'm already through my second bottle. This makes me believe that Hillary is beyond her years for her age. It also helps that she's from Houston. There's nothing like a Southern belle to keep the naysayers guessing.
- Sharon Bolton's Luv Perfume.* The only person who can take gardenia and make it modern, sweet, and sexy at the same time. Sharon also made me change my normal "Sunday go to meeting" scent.
- Dermalogica Solar Defense Booster SPF 30. I always use this with my daily moisturizer. I definitely love sunscreen.
- Ojon Hair Care Products. These products are packed with moisture and are very natural. The restorative treatment is your hair's best friend.
- Kiehl's Creme de Corps. Year after year this is still working wonders.
- Hip Tranquil Chick by Kimberly Wilson. It's not a product, but a book. Great for every woman who needs a little yoga, a little flair and a whole lot of life wrapped in the best packaging.
*Released in 2006.

Whoa, those are some delish products ... just as my Wish List got somewhat reduced by Santa et al, there's a few more for it! Now, Julia, a very serious question; aside from the Sisleya, what do you think of BB's Hydrating Eye Cream given you love her Vit Enriched Face Base so much? Please advise ... Thank you for so much Pretty in 2006 -- keep it comin' in 2007!

I loved Sharon Bolton's products, Truth especially. It reminded me a lot of Philosophy's Amazing Grace. The consistency of the products was much better though.
Happy new year!!!
