While I was pregnant, Julia sent me some of the Mama Mio products to try. Most people will tell you that genetics plays the biggest role in determining whether you will get stretch marks during those long, nine months. But I'm convinced that Mama Mio's Tummy Rub is what kept my stretch marks away. I applied it day and night on my expanding belly (along with a little prayer). The Rub contains rosehip, wheatgerm and borage oils. Although its oil based, it absorbed quickly and didn't leaving me feeling greasy.
Another great Mama Mio product is their Boob Tube. Now that I'm breast feeding, the "girls" get a heavy dose of this cream every morning after my shower. It keeps them moisturized throughout the day. I'm also hoping that the cream keeps them from falling below my knees when this is all said and done.
Gotta run-Colin is waking up for his next feeding.

You know what I love? Belli Cosmetics. It's non-toxic and every ingredient is tested to ensure its safe against birth defects. It was formulated by a doctor and his wife. The products feel amazing and they work. I got through my my pregnancy and had a beautiful baby boy (and no stretch marks)!!!

I also used both of these products during and after my pregnancy, and I absolutely loved them.

G - I sent Dolo the presents because my friend Audie used the products when she was pregnant and loved them. I took her recommendation and whatI had read. I've never been pregnant, but I use the oil and I'm in love with that Boob Tube.

That's interesting. A website I write for ran a series of articles on skin care during pregnancy. We were trying to figure out how concerned, selective and aware pregnant women are in their choice of skin care during pregnancy... You know, the issues of topical stuff being safe for the fetus etc.. So how did you decide on "Mama Mio" line? Did you make sure it is safe? Consult your doctor?
(Nice to know it worked!)
