I've discovered some new hair products that I just adore. For the last couple of months, I have been using Matrix Vavoom Blow-In Control Protective Serum and the Iron-In Control Protective Dry Mist. Because of the humidity in Houston, I have to blow dry and straighten my hair with an iron several times a week. You can just imagine the damage that this does to my hair. I use both of the Matrix products to protect my hair from the harsh effects of the heat. Since I started using them, I've noticed that my hair is super-soft and shiny. The Matrix line carries a variety of other products depending on your hair type, color and texture. Try these products, you won't be disappointed.

Holy Cuteness-I'm not sure if these products will hold a curl. My hair is pretty straight to begin with-but I would still give them a try if I was you. Let me know what you think.

I know, those are great! I'm also loving the Redken Heat Glide and Spray starch - those two keep everything in place and gives such a shine!

I am always looking for products to combat the summer heat/humidity. I live in VA so it's probably does not get as humid here in summer as it does in Texas, but I still have my bad hair days.
With the use of these 2 products does your hair still hold a curl? Or are you using a hairspray also? The products I currently use in the summer work pretty well for controlling frizz, but on a bad day my curls just flop.
