NYT: It’s Your Makeup Artist’s Autograph That I Want
In today's New York Times, there is an article on the power of a top makeup artists and how they are becoming celebrities in their own right. Excuse me! To all the beauty junkies these are our celebrities. That's why we still refer to Kevyn Aucoin's books. They are beautiful works of art. There is a photo of the fabulous Pat McGrath, brush in hand with Natalia Vodianava. I definitely think they missed a few such as Billy B, Mally Roncal, Molly Stern, Leslie Lopez, Tia Dantzler, Sam Fine, Paul Starr (did someone miss Jennifer Garner at the Oscars?), Rachel Goodwin, and Polly Osmond just to name a few. I know I'm missing some people, but charge it to my head and not my heart.

I totally agree. I will get giddy over a make-up artist way before an entertainer (ok...except for maybe Common, Idris Elba, and a few others that make me drool lol). And I agree, a few notables were definately missing. I guess ya can't win them all tho...
