I'm sure a lot of us have read, watched, and listened to all the election commentary. But let's not talk about the boys, let's talk about the ladies. I only want to talk about beauty. SUPERB. If I had my politic pretty way I would add a little more color to Michelle's face. The hair - flat ironed and perfect. The face - nothing but skin buffed to perfection. The eyes - super and subtle. I wonder if Bobbi did the makeup. I know she is attending the DNC. The cheeks looked like Bobbi Brown's Mauve Blush from the Mauve Palette or As Sweet As Cocoa from MAC. The lips looked like Rum Raisin with Raisin lip gloss. I just need a little more color on the lips. I think she will look great in MAC's Cult of Cherry Lipstick in So Scarlet and finished with Lipglass in Rich & Ripe. Her nails looked like Essie Allure or Adore-a-ball.
If I was Michelle's Makeup Artist I would use Prescriptives Custom Blend Tinted Moisturizer and finish with their new mineral powder all over her face. I would use a dab of MAC's Refined Deeper Bronze Powder. I would then add individual Shu Uemura lashes on the outer corner of the lash. I would have coats of Bobbi Brown's My Everything Mascara and finish with L'Oreal's Telescopic Mascara on top. I would put Bobbi's Shimmering Nudes Palette in various layers all over her eyes. I would add pop to her cheeks with MAC Powder Blush in Ambering Rose. I would then stain her lips with NARS Lip Gloss and Lip Stain Duo in Moon Fleet and Indian Red. For all the eyes full of tears as she spoke I recommend Clinique's Lash Power Mascara Long Wearing Formula in Black Onyx.
This is what I would do with my own politic pretty way. What would you all do makeup wise?

She looks very nice, good for you Obama!

I thought she looked elegant, classy and her makeup was perfect, very natural, not overdone.

I wouldn't change a thing. I thought she was absolutely perfect. Intelligent, gorgeous, stylish. Too bad SHE isn't running! :)

wow you have a keen eye! i loved her dress, it was perfectly fine for her not to be in a stiff and formal item.

I actually liked Michelle's dress - the color complemented her skin beautifully. And how adorable are her girls?!

You are right! Miss Bobbi herself did the makeup! And one of Bobbi's employees owns a hair salon with her husband and they did the hair. Superbly done!

I thought she looked great! And so did the
children. I did not like the dress. But I admire Michelle Obama!

I thought her dress was in very poor taste. It should have been more professional. The hair, make-up, and speech were great!

She was appropriately beautiful and can save the glam for the inaugural ball.

I think she looked great, but I do agree with you, she needs a little bit more color. I'd even go as far as saying using the Viva Glam lipglass to give her lips a more pink sheen to them. But otherwise, she was on point! She looked very much like a first lady.

That June-Cleaver-meets-the-Jetsons dress made her linebacker shoulders look even more muscular than usual. Hideous! Can't focus on the makeup with that going on.

Loved your assessment, however, I thought Michelle looked perfectly lovely. Her hair and skin were to die for..........
