Here's the first beauty news of the Fall season. I hope everyone has a great weekend.
- Balenciaga is heading back in to the fragrance area with Balenciaga Paris due out in February. The scent has notes of violet, patchouli, and cedar to create what Nicolas Ghesquiere calls a "romantic floral."
- Michael Kors has added another element to his Very Hollywood collection - color cosmetics. The Very Hollywood Color Collection will be available at Estee Lauder counters in January. The collection concentrates on pinks, shimmer, and corals.
- CHANEL's new studio in Bloomingdale's on 59th in NY is the largest for Chanel.
- Vera Wang Glam Princess comes out in December with the uber cute Zoe Kravitz starring in the campaign. The scent has notes of orange blossom, vanilla orchid, pear, and red berries.
- Keune Hair Cosmetics has launched Care Line Man - styling productions and styling aids designed for men.
- DailyCandy will launch an e-commerce members only site called Swirl on Nov. 16 and officially launch the site in January. The site will launch established and up and coming designers in apparel and accessories.
- Studio BeautyMix the namesake California beauty mecca has joined with Korres in one stop beauty shopping in New York on Wooster in Soho.
- Clinique is launching Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Corrector in March to help fade dark spots, age spots, and skin discoloration.
