Music's biggest night always
brings out the best in beauty trends for spring and the 52nd Grammy
Awards was no exception. Here's a look at my favorite looks of the night.
The top award goes to Keri
Hilson with her gorgeous purple smoky eye look. I've always loved a
purple smoky eye and she nailed it. The color is so fresh and pretty
and perfect for spring. Her slightly darker than neutral lip color gave
her look a little more dimension without competing with her eye makeup.
Her hair was simple and gorgeous. Her glowing skin completed the look.
A huge trend of the night was the heavily lined smoky eye; a look seen on Victoria's Secret model Marisa Miller, E! Correspondent Giuliana Rancic and of course Lady Gaga. While Marisa and Giuliana chose a more neutral lip, the always outrageous, never shy, Lady Gaga went bold with a bright bubblegum pink. Obviously Lady Gaga's bold eyes and lips is not a look you'd wear to work, but I'm digging it on the red carpet. If you're daring enough to try the bubblegum pink lipstick trend, blot slightly and apply a clear gloss, for a more wearable version. Each of these ladies looked lovely and pulled off the trend in their own unique way.
Another trend that I'm loving
is the icy lined eye, using a silver or champagne shadow to highlight
the entire eye area. This trend was sported by Rihanna and Hillary Scott
from the band Lady Antebellum. Both ladies went for glowy skin and clear
gloss. This is a look I've always loved and it's quickly become a classic,
go-to look for Hollywood. This is a look that can easily be recreated
for day or night with a shimmery silver shadow, shimmery rose blush
and a clear or light pink gloss. Just brush the shadow around the entire
eye, line with black liner and apply a few coats of black mascara or
sexy faux lashes if you dare.

I love the looks of Keri Hilson and Rihanna.. They look gorgeous..

Normally I love these ethereal little music videos designers will create for their latest line. They're airy and obscure with the faintest wind of a bubblegum pop hum in the background. Like the Virgin Suicides with the prettiest boys Europe can deliver!

To me i think Rihanna killed with that white dress. The dress in itself was pure fabulousness . Also the dress that Beyonce wore after her performance was also a stunner and it fitted quite well with the new trend of sequins and beaded dresses.
