Sonia Kashuk has created a perfect little blending sponge to apply my tinted moisturizer. I love blending sponges for their lightness and how flawless they apply foundation. Another great use of the sponge is applying cream blush. To apply, dip the top of the sponge into the cream blush, dab on cheeks and blend. It creates a flawless finish. I finish with a highlighter on the apples. The key to keeping the sponge in shape is washing after a few uses. You don't want it to have a lot of makeup buildup.
This has been placed in the travel makeup case.

I just bought this and cant wait to use it! I too wanted to get the beauty blender but saw this and figured I'd give it a whirl. How do you clean it?

This looks great! I can't wait to try it with my Maybelline Mineral Power Natural Perfecting Foundation (its sooo good). Sonia is always coming out with innovative quality products at reasonable prices. Love her!

Nikki, it is indeed similar. This is definitely a more affordable substitute. I have the beauty blender and use that at home, but this is great for traveling.

Is this similar to the Beauty Blender sponge? The price on the beauty blender sponge is a little high and this seems like it could be used as a cheaper substitute.
